What is wellness, and why does it matter?
Wellness means making thoughtful, daily choices towards a healthy and fulfilling life. While in dental school, you may notice changes in your personal well-being and health due to a decrease in exercise, changed eating habits, stress or depression.
Conn ASDA is joining ASDA’s Wellness Initiative, encouraging you to make well-being a priority with a focus on these five dimensions of your life:
The Student Mental Health Service provides evaluation and treatment to medical, dental and graduate students of the University of Connecticut. While stress management is often a focus of treatment students are seen for a variety of other issues. Appointments are often available within 24 hours of your call.
